A Message to Parents

Dear Parents,

At our centre, we value open communication and constructive feedback. If there is something you do not understand or agree with, we encourage you to discuss it respectfully with your teacher or the management team.

At the same time, we ask students and parents to distinguish between genuine concerns and personal preferences. Not every teaching method, classroom rule, correction, or disciplinary action will match everyone’s preference, and that is okay. Different teachers may have different approaches, but all are working towards the same goal: helping students learn, grow, and develop good character.

We would also like to share that our educators are carefully selected. Every educator who joins our team goes through an interview process that includes our pastoral leadership. Beyond qualifications and teaching ability, we look for individuals who genuinely care for children and are committed to their growth and well-being. We are grateful to have a team that serves with dedication, professionalism, and a heart for students.

We also want to reaffirm that teachers have the authority to guide, correct, and discipline students when necessary. Being corrected is a normal part of learning. A teacher’s correction should not automatically be viewed as a negative experience, but as an opportunity for growth and improvement. While correction may sometimes feel uncomfortable, it is an important part of personal growth, character development, and academic progress.

We ask students to communicate accurately when sharing classroom experiences with their parents. Please avoid misunderstandings, assumptions, exaggerations, or incomplete information that may create unnecessary concerns. If there is ever uncertainty about what happened, we encourage parents and students to seek clarification directly from the teacher or management.

We also encourage students and parents to communicate their concerns clearly and directly. If there is a preference, expectation, or disagreement, please express it openly rather than making assumptions about a teacher’s intentions or methodology. Honest and respectful communication helps us address issues effectively and prevents misunderstandings from growing into unnecessary conflicts.

As a management team, our responsibility is to care for both students and educators. We believe that a healthy learning environment cannot exist without good teachers. Therefore, when concerns arise, we will always seek to understand the full situation before drawing conclusions. We will not make decisions based solely on one-sided accounts, assumptions, or hearsay. Our goal is not to choose teachers over students or students over teachers, but to uphold truth, fairness, and the best interests of the entire learning community.

At the same time, we will continue to support educators who act professionally, responsibly, and with genuine care for students. We do not believe in sacrificing good teachers simply to avoid difficult conversations or satisfy personal preferences. Likewise, we remain committed to ensuring that every student is treated fairly, respectfully, and with care. Both students and teachers deserve to be heard, respected, and protected.

Our commitment is to build a learning environment founded on mutual trust, respect, responsibility, accountability, and honest communication. We believe that growth happens best when students, parents, teachers, and management work together as partners. When we choose understanding over assumptions, dialogue over complaints, and truth over rumours, our entire community becomes stronger.

A Message to Students

Dear Students,

At our centre, we believe that learning includes both academic growth and character development. Your teachers have the responsibility and authority to teach, guide, correct, and discipline when necessary. Correction is not punishment—it is part of helping you grow and improve.

If you disagree with a teacher’s decision, classroom rule, or disciplinary action, please communicate respectfully and seek clarification rather than making assumptions.

We also expect every student to communicate honestly and accurately when sharing classroom experiences with parents or others. Do not exaggerate, leave out important details, twist stories, or create false narratives. Honest communication helps everyone understand situations fairly and prevents unnecessary misunderstandings.

When concerns arise, management will always listen to all sides and seek the full truth before making conclusions. We will not make decisions based on rumours, assumptions, or one-sided accounts.

Our teachers are carefully selected not only for their qualifications but also for their commitment to caring for students. We value and support educators who act professionally, responsibly, and with genuine concern for your growth.

As a centre, we are committed to both students and teachers. We will not sacrifice good teachers simply to avoid difficult conversations or because someone dislikes being corrected. Strong, caring, and principled teachers are essential to a healthy learning environment.

Let us build a culture where truth is valued over rumours, respect is shown to one another, and concerns are addressed through honest communication. Together, we can create a community where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive.

IGCSE stands for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, a globally recognised qualification for students typically aged 14-16. It serves as an internationally-valued alternative to the UK GCSE, recognised by universities and employers worldwide, and helps prepare students for further education. Offered by examination boards such as Cambridge Assessment International Education and Pearson Edexcel, IGCSEs provide a broad range of subjects and a flexible curriculum designed for international learners.

Our classrooms are small in scale, allowing each learner to receive full attention and personalised guidance. In this intimate setting, educators become facilitators who observe, listen, and scaffold learning, rather than delivering information for passive absorption.

We’re not a traditional school — learning here goes beyond books. Our activities are designed to enhance academic learning, not replace it. Parents receive daily updates via WhatsApp on each child’s lesson progress.

We generally follow the government school holiday calendar, though there may be slight differences depending on our internal schedule and programs.
